Yasalam 2011 returns with a jam packed schedule full of new surprises and breath taking events for the entire community, topped off with a season finale that will see British music legend Sir Paul McCartney wrap up the spectacular three-night after-race concert series on Yas Island.

The concert weekend kicks-off with pop princess Britney Spears while American rock band Incubus and British hard rock band The Cult will perform on the second night.

Fast becoming the most electrifying city-wide entertainment program the region has ever staged, this year’s Yasalam contains some exciting new additions to the program including TROPFEST Arabia and Cut&Paste Abu Dhabi, while the popular ‘Cinema by the Sea’ will feature the UAE’s first public screening of the documentary sweeping the racing world; Senna. Also, back by popular demand are signature events ‘Beats on the Beach’, ‘F1™ FanZone’, ‘Cinema by the Sea’, and the ‘Yasalam Parade’.

The Beats on the Beach concerts at Abu Dhabi Corniche will feature superstar performances from Lebanese icon Najwa Karam, Saber Al Robai, British R’n’B sensation Jay Sean, Wyclef Jean, K-Pop artists Seo in Young, Nine Muses, and many others, all lined up to rock the bustling beach party during Yasalam.
