Hi all,

I am a British 28 year old female relocating to Abu Dhabi on Saturday 10th October. I will be arriving on my own to set up a regional office for my company (Oil and Gas sector).

I am very excited about moving to what seems like a very nice part of the world however i am nervous about how to meet people. Does anyone have any suggestions of the best way to meet people?

I really dont want to be going everywhere on my own :(

I would appreciate your help.

Welcome in advance, meeting new people never been hard here, you can find nice people everywhere, at work, in your neighborhood, in the mall, so no worries..

same is the situation with me. I am 28/m , senior telecom engineer...working on etisalat project.

Well you are comming on 10th october but I have been here for the last 2 months and yet don't have any friend. Really much boring weekends here for me....
