Moving to Abu Dabi with a new born

This is my first post so hope Iam doing everything right! My husband just got an offer to Abu Dabhi, we are trying to make an informed decision especially because I am pregnant, therefore I would like to know what kind of support, activities and possibilities to meet other women with young children, considering I will not be working for the first 6 months to 1 year.
Any info about daycare would be appeciated as well.

There are alot of daycare centers in UAE, but am not really sure about the details, anyway you are welcome to Abu Dhabi and to the forum.

Yes you are in the right place, welcome to Abu Dhabi and to our site, daycare center are available on Abu Dhabi, you can also join Abu Dhabi Women Club, they do organize family gathering, are you going to give birth here in UAE?

Thanks a lot for your replies. Still not sure about giving birth there. It depens on how long the visa process will take and if I can fly by then. I have heard that there are good hospitals as well both American and British, correct?
