Hi...I do have a question about obtaining a driver's license here in Abu Dhabi. I have asked a couple of individuals and all of them gave varying answers. Anyway, here is my dilemma...I've got a Qatar driver's license that is valid till 2012. I have an Abu Dhabi visa but I am currently working in one of our branches in Jebel Ali, Dubai. can I convert my Qatar driver's license to a UAE license? If not, how do I obtain a driver's license? Please note that I do have an Abu Dhabi license but presently working in Dubai. Can I apply for a driver's license in Dubai?

I had the same situation before, here is what you can do,
can I convert my Qatar driver's license to a UAE license? Yes you can, but not convert, you still need to take street test which you have one chance only.
If you have Abu Dhabi licanse then you dont need Dubai Licanse, you can use Any UAE licanse all over UAE, Did you i get you right?
