Cheeeeers, all Qatar ppl are moving to Abu Dhabi, Bro you just took the right decision, if the accomodation is included in your offer so no worries about the rents, anyway it is almost the same with doha, I think your offer is pretty good, When i moved here, i found most of the costs are alomst the same, maybe taxis is cheaper here as there is still old one, food is almost the same, but the place here is more beautiful and more fun

Hello there, if they are offering you accommodation, so i think the offer is very good, room rents may be like 2k-4k, and you can share it with someone, so it will be fine, am sure you will survive

Good morning guys, about your offer i believe it is fine as a start spicily if they will provide accommodation, because it is the biggest problem you may face here, Advice brother, accept it.

I have some friends who moved from Qatar, as they said the cost of living is almost the same except that Abu Dhabi is bigger place and have more facilities what will let you spend more, but if you know that you can manage yourself, i think the offer is fine, let us know what u r going to do

7k + Commission is very good offer, and u will not face the room problem, go on and take the chance, any way how is qatar i heard there are alot of vacancies, is it true??

Would like to help, but i have no idea about the life in Qatar, but your offer seems fine as a start.

I am skeptical.I believe that 7k is little....Thats my point of view.

Life is boring in qatar,Because thier is no place to entertain Very few.
Only few malls ,that is too boring if you go more then 10 times.
Now a days huge rush even in small supermerket,i dont know what the hell they are buying allthetime.

This is me & my friends experience here in qatar.

So they will pay you 1500-2000 plus the 7k...?? 2000 is fine to find a good shared room, 1500 not enough..what about the transport?

Qatarguy, dont tell me about life in Doha, it is soooooo boring, few malls few clubs and corniche, thats it, i suffer there for 3 years

Before processing my work visa ,do they need my certificate to be attested,

i enquired a guy (agent)about this ,he said it takes atleast 45 working days.
But i promised to join there before spetember.
is there any other way to do this things.

2.what my driving license,
i got valid qatar driving license,
is it transferable to uae or i have to start my calss from the begining.

regarding the certificate matter, yes it should be included in your papers so they can issue your visa with the correct profession, and it almost take 45 days, still you have time till September.
There was an topic about the driving license clearing everything, you can make a search,

Sorry to tell you that your driving license (mine as well) is almost useless here, as you have to take the road exam again, plus a 5 days theory classes,

as XDoha said, it is not transferable, but it will help you to avoid going to driving school, you will need to attend 4 days theory lessons and one day exam (Emirates driving school), then you will take the road exam for one try only, in case you did not pass then you have to go to school, check this links, it may help

I don't think two month will be enough as you have to wait for your visa to be stamped in the passport which will take time, just try to be Patient.

I am a banking professional with around 8 years of Exp. I have been offered a position in Abu Dhabi with a pay of AED 22,000 / month inclusive of accomodation , transport allowance. Medical / Insurance etc is over and above the same.

Will it be a good idea to shift to AED and will this amount be sufficient to cover all the costs for me , my wife and my 1.5 year old kid.
