Job offer

I have a possible job offer in Abu Dhabi, the salary is around the 26000 mark + an allowance still to be negotiated (rental, electricity, water, rates, car instalment, fuel, insurance).
My wife will be joining me and my x2 dogs (1 large , 1small) , as i would require accomodation with a small garden, i assume townhouses are the best bet??
Could somebody please recomend where would be a great place to stay, i know it does depend on the rental allowance, however if u could let me know what it costs in certain areas that would be great.
My wife is a food technologist and im yet to see anything of the sort in the job websites, does anyone know if food tech's exist in Abu Dhabi (might sound like a silly question).

Assuming the allowances cover us and 26000 is "disposable", is this salary decent for x2 people to live on considering all other expenses that i have not mentioned.

Butain Area And Arabian Gulf road would be great, as there are some compounds with small villas and garden, cost will vary but it will be at least 170k, so you better get a good deal with your employer, the 26k will be great if the company will pay the other expenses like transportation and house..etc

I believe that my dreams will become true ONE DAY.....

Hi, I think the salary is

Hi,

I think the salary is pretty good in a tax free country. I am not sure about the garden but you can find a pretty good 2 room apartment in 8-10k per month or you can search out for a villa. Please check out the classified section on gulfnews.com and khaleejtimes.com

Regards,

WC

If you're looking for townhouse with small garden, Raha Garden in Khalifah City A, Sas Al Nakheel, Mangrove Village and Sea Shores village are villa compounds (facilities & 24 hours security) in Abu Dhabi. The rental price is around 220K minimum per annum for 3 bedrooms. It can goes up to 350K or more. The price is getting higher everyday actually.

All of the villa compounds I mentioned are mostly expatriates residential area. There shouldn't be any problem if you're keeping the dogs in the compound.
