Accomodation in Abudhabi

Dear friends,
Can anybody guide me regarding the accommodation in & around Abudhabi? I planned to have a 1/2 bedroom flat in the outskirts like murror , masafah or baniyas? what about the facilities in those areas. Is it wise to see accommodation in Baniyas as I am having my office at Hamdan street?

well it will be far for you if you got accommodation in banyas but still will be cheaper, muror seems a good idea, check on some agents and they will show you more than an option, but be careful do not pay anything before you get a contract..

You are welcome buddy, Baniyas is like 40km far to Abu Dhabi, Muror to Hamdan not far but you have to watch the traffic,

define family

hi, anyone can tell me what does 'family' here in the arab world means? Me and my wife stay in a 3 bedroom flat in khalidiya. We have our son, my wife's parents and 1 brother.

Now the watchman or natur keeps bugging us that brothers and parents are not allowed in our flat. Only 'family'. Isn't your mom and dad your family? And also your brother? We already told the owner that we are one family living here and told him that we have one brother who stays with us...

but noooooooo!!! Brothers are not allowed. Only husband, wife and son. My brother in law has a small salary of 1500dhs. Where can he rent a room with that and how can he save?

So my question is, are siblings allowed in the flat? is there a law saying that only husband wife and children are the only family?

Please advise me because i'm quite confused.

If any body can give me info on accomodation in Abu Dhabi for 5 days, are accomodation on short term available, i checked out some of the hotels but they are very expensive, any other economic option available???
