Has anybody tried it?

I have tried a few things... nice.

But if you wanna try the 'mendi'.... make sure you don't have a lot of plans for the rest of the day.

Every time I eat it, I go to sleep for the next six hours!!

Mandi is one of the best meals for me, but you are 100% right, it is too heavy,.. i did not try any other meals, that is done by local, hope some one can advice where we can find it..

I found your comment on mendi quite humorous, tell me is it really true that you sleep for the next 6 hours. What's it made of??? As for me I like the hummus and the roti that they serve. The dips that accompany these are excellent.

If you like to shop for branded items like I do, try the Iconic Store recently opened at City Center in Deira Dubai. You'll be surprised by the discounts they are offering. Hopefully they'll branch out to Abu Dhabi soon.

Not really six hours, but atleast 3 hours,, lol..
Its made of rice cooked with some spices, it comes with beef or chicken both are good. in general Arabic food is good.
