Damaged cars in Khalidiya

This morning I found my car with dents and scratches all over. A few other cars which were parked next to mine had broken windows.
Looks like some moron took a big stone and started randomly breaking all the windows in parked cars but when it came to my car he couldn't break the glass so decided to damage the metal.
Also a week ago thieves broke into my neighbor's flat and stole some valuables and money. The same thing happened in nearby building a week before that.
Abu Dhabi doesn't seem to be as quiet and safe as it used to be.
Are these things happening everywhere in Abu Dhabi? Did anything similar happen to you recently?

Now in regard to cars scratches, it is normal, it happen everyday and for evrybody, due to crowded parking area and unskilled drivers, but house stolen, honestly i never heard about it in Abu Dhabi, could it be the crises???

khalidiya is the worest place to go by car, when ever park there, either I will get scratch or police ticket, last time I got 200Dhs parking ticket, even I kept my mobile number and I was setting infront of the car, totally not fair...
I heared something about thevies issue, but I dont think it is that big matter, it happen everywhere...
