Abu Dhabi to set up AutoZone for trade in cars

ABU DHABI — Preparations have begun to establish a comprehensive AutoZone for trade in new and used cars in the emirate, said Dr Jo'an bin Salim Al Zahery, Head of the Municipal Affairs Department of Abu Dhabi.
The AutoZone which is being set up at a cost of around Dh11 billion, will include service centres and a museum for classic cars, Dr Al Zahery told Khaleej Times.
The AutoZone will be located on the junction of Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road with Musafah Road, Dr Al Zahery said.
The AutoZone, which is expected to be completed by 2012, will be constructed according to the highest international standards.
